Since 2017 when we launched, we have partnered with my favorite LYS, Nina Chicago, to kick off Stitch Up Chicago with afternoon shopping, tea and snacks. This is the only true shopping experience at Stitch Up chicago and it is very special. We get together, snack, shop and also enjoy an event discount off the entire store! The store is closed to the public and yummy snacks and drinks are provided for an exclusive shopping experience.

In 2017, at our first event, we had 7 people for our afternoon event. In 2023, over 70 attended the afternoon shopping event. It is more than just “shopping” because it is sharing great finds. It is getting help on yarn choices. And some of us just sit, sip and stitch.

Nina Chicago has supported and been part of Stitch Up Chicago since day one and we are so thrilled to kick off each event in this special way.

In 2020 Nina Chicago moved to a new much bigger location and that was good for Stitch Up because our Afternoon Tea size tripled that year!

In 2023, after a 3 year pause, we were so excited to return to Nina Chicago for our Afternoon Tea & Shopping.
